The Kosovo Women’s Economic Forum (FEG) participated in the workshop titled “Building on Progress: Advancing Kosovo’s Leadership in the Women, Peace and Security Agenda,” organized by the Regional Center of Excellence for Women, Peace and Security in Kosovo.

The workshop focused on the importance of National Action Plans (NAPs) for the Women, Peace and Security Agenda, highlighting them as essential tools for promoting gender equality and building inclusive and sustainable peace. Its primary aim was to offer international perspectives through expert Mirsad Jacevic, showcasing the experiences, successes, and challenges of countries that have adopted and implemented NAPs.

FEG was represented by its Coordinator, Ms. Saxhide Mustafa, who contributed to the discussions by reflecting on the role of civil society organizations in shaping and implementing policies linked to the Women, Peace and Security Agenda in Kosovo.

The event brought together representatives from state institutions, civil society, and international partners, emphasizing the importance of interinstitutional cooperation and inclusivity in gender-responsive policymaking.

The workshop was organized by the Regional Center of Excellence for Women, Peace and Security, established under the Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo.
