The Kosovo Women’s Economic Forum held its regular quarterly meeting today, focused on ongoing activities and planning for the remainder of the year. The project “Expanding Choices,” supported by UNFPA, continues to successfully engage relevant stakeholders — particularly within the private sector.

The project aims to enhance opportunities for both women and men in the labor market and promote family-friendly workplace policies.

Key agenda points for 2025 include:

  • Implementation of the Labor Law

  • Promotion of non-discriminatory policies in the labor market

  • Support for women entrepreneurs and initiatives aimed at improving their economic status

One of the most important milestones for the year is the launch of the National Agenda for Women’s Economic Empowerment 2025–2030 — a strategic document that will offer clear guidance for both public and private institutions to support women’s economic empowerment in Kosovo.

The meeting was attended by representatives from member organizations of the Kosovo Women’s Economic Forum, including:

  • Nora Latifi Jashari (GAP Institute)

  • Rezarta Delibashzade Krasniqi (Democracy for Development – D4D)

  • Leonids Molliqaj (QIKA)

  • Saxhide Mustafa (Riinvest Institute)

  • Brikenë Hoxha (Kosovo Stability Initiative – IKS)

  • Elirjeta Beka (Kosova Women’s Network)

  • Iliriana Gashi (Kosova – Women 4 Women)

  • Ernera Dushica (GAP Institute)
