WEF is going support vulnerable group of women that worked in informal sectors, the activities of which were brought to halt due to the pandemic. This includes cash disbursements (around the value of the minimum wage) which is an effective response to ensure continued consumption, as these households have a high propensity to use a large portion of transfers on goods and basic necessities, and this has an income multiplier effect. More specifically, the support is designed for women that worked, among others, in nursing, babysitting, and house cleaning sub-sectors. Given that the amount of the support dedicated for this objective is limited, and in an effort to build a transparent and strict eligibility criterion, the focus of the support will be limited to women that are single parents. The objectives of the project include:

- One-off direct relief support to the most vulnerable groups using strict eligibility criteria;

- Advocate for the inclusion of women vulnerable groups in relief packages of the government using innovative approaches and platforms.
